Mazatlan Shopping
The
city has shopping malls and also the José Maria
Pino Suárez market. There is also an attractive
commercial area on Rodolfo T. Loaiza, in the hotel zone,
with handicrafts in ceramics, silver, leather and beach
design. You will discover interesting objects made by
expert artisans from Sinaloa in its corridors, such
as furniture, clay pottery, basket weaving, all of an
excellent quality.
The
shopping options are endless; the Mexican colors catch
the visitors eyes everywhere. At the municipal market,
the handicraft center and the
Museum of Shells you
can buy products and handicrafts from all over . All
you need is some time and some sense of adventure to
explore the handicraft stores, both in the tourist zone
and downtown.
There
is a great variety of interesting galleries and workshops
in Mazatlán for those who look for original works
of art. You could be lucky and arrive for the opening
of a painting, sculpture or other works exhibition at
the Archaeological
Museum or at the
Museum of
Art that usually has exhibitions every month.
Most
stores in the Golden Zone remain open all day to serve
their customers, but in downtown
Mazatlan , offices and stores
usually close at noon.
